Summit Night climb

The last part of the climb is 1,300 m in elevation in about 7 hours. In this image you can see two things: 1) How easy the last bit from Stella Point on the crater rim to the summit appear, and yet many people don’t make it past Stella Point due to utter exhaustion. And 2) How little of the fabled snow of Kilimanjaro is left. Even though the glaciers still look impressive when seen from ground level.
